About Us
Founded by parents with many years of experience in organizing and running a German Saturday school.
We are a parents' initiative
The German Saturday School Forest Hill ( DSSFH ) was the first Saturday school in 'Inner South East London' and has been in operation since September 2010.
Our primary goal
The aim was to offer families in the immediate vicinity of Forest Hill a German Saturday school 'on their doorstep' .
Nowadays, children from a considerably larger area come to our school.
Our priority
Students aged 4 to 16 are divided into four classes. We also offer a GCSE class for interested young people.
Our children
The lessons are conducted exclusively in German. Therefore, it is important that the children understand the language so that they can actively participate in the lessons and have fun.

The lesson
The goal is to create a friendly and family-like atmosphere where children and parents feel comfortable.
Therefore, we offer small teaching groups in which the teachers are supported alternately by different parents.
